Nice spot with dock assist by the ladies (tip) nice views, lots of seating, service was very friendly and our $15 Rum Bucket was awesome, great to share btw. Food was decent, great for a quick bite!

Great party spot! Docked the boat and went for a dip. Drinks are great and swim up bar makes it even better! Didn’t try the food, but looks pretty good for bar food. I will be back!

One of the junkier lakeside pubs. Live music, decent food, high prices, small wade pool bar. Trash, debris and dirt both inside and out - they just don't care about cleanliness. Avoid the uncontrolled drunks on Friday and Saturday. Enjoy the live music and concerts.

Will not be going to Shady Gators this year due to ignorance of the spread of coronavirus.

Better time than the other bars for day drinking. Whether you're younger or older, this place has friendlier patrons than other places on the Lake

As a full-time resident living on the water, I frequent a lot of restaurants at the Lake of the Ozarks. Even though they are popular with a certain crowd, in my experience, "Shady" Gators has a reputation for a rougher clientele and are occasionally in the paper involving drug activity. They are obviously doing something right since they are consistantly crowded (they do have some great bands), but just not for me.

Went to eat here but 100s of such brave maskless freedom fighters (smirk) were packed into a concert. Come to find out that Shady Gators didn't even require let alone suggest masks and distancing. The greatest generation of sacrificers is looking down yelling that y'alls deserve what you get. Problem is that you couldn't hear it over that vapid edm music.

Restaurant gets 5 stars! Everything was great, until we went over to check out the part with the pool and volley ball nets and stuff. The security guards weren't very nice, and kept making me pour out my water. The bar tenders on this side were not very friendly. It took a long time to buy a drink and get some water. The pool looked pretty cloudy and full of people. We were invited up to the volley ball area, there was trash everywhere. I guess they need a few more people working outside, or something. It was a really neat place and we had fun while we were there. We met one of the owners and he was awesome. He went beyond what we expected when we a question. I told him he should open on of these in st. Charles, but he doesn't plan on it.

Food is ok. Other restaurants are better.

Are you on Lake of the Ozarks? If you don't make a stop at Shady/Lazy Gators, I'd say you didn't even hit the water. A must stop.

This place is where you need to be when visiting the lakes. Great music, delicious food (nachos!) and hard-working friendly staff. Everyone's always having a good time here, and view of the lake is gorgeous.

Just stopped in to check it out and was pleasantly surprised! I want to go back for a weekend. Everything you need in one place! Rooms, restaurant, bar, live music, boat rentals, pool, t-shirt shop! Wow!

WOW................ what a place. Easy to describe I definitely recommend going great food great atmosphere and great times. You could get there by land or water either one it's still good and fun. Come with an appetite or come thirsty when you eventually leave you'll be happy

We had such a great time hanging out at this beautiful pool while in town for a bachelorette weekend! Can’t say anything about the food because I didn’t try it but the drinks were reasonable and the bartender was awesome! It’s a good thing we had to go back to our room to get ready for our boat ride because we were having too much fun and I may not have made it out!

Service was spectacular, the live band was awesome and we had an overall great time.

Pretty hot night spot. The past season or two it has seemed to be more of a local crowd than a boater crowd. There's a cover on the weekends so we don't go there much anymore. Crazy to me that people pay to walk through the door of a bar.

State wide computer geeks like myself that works for school districts had a conference in the area and one of the vendors threw a shindig at Lazy Gators, an outdoor venue, a part of Shady Gators. That was one of the best times I had in a long time. Everyone needed to unwind after a long year and this was perfect! The staff were very accommodating and super nice. I saw the owner a couple times and he is a great person with a super sense of humor who puts in long hours according to one of the guys who works security. He's definitely dedicated to his business! I hope we go back there next summer!

Went when not too busy, several people got sick afterwards, can't say it was food but good chance. Menu was not up to date and the food people were reaching about was not available. Atmosphere was great and when it's full of people I bet this place is a blast. Unless your on the lake and partying and it is prime time, it was a little overpriced for the value and not that great. Had much better food at other restaurants. Not bad just not great

Great drinks and food. Good prices. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly. They bring in great bands too - dr zhivagos, well hungarians, too name a few. Boat docks and car accessible. Great service. Lots of outside seating. Great view of the lake

Great time at the concerts! Drinks are of course pricey but the venue is divided up well. Lots of room to roam! Food is also good!

Great place with amazing entertainment

There is hardly any room to turn around and security does not help when people stand and block the very narrow roadway up and down. One of the security actually yelled at me. Training issue? Control trip? I'm not sure, I'd rather not bother, other businesses accommodate pickup and dropoff professionally.

My Bartender Teel was the best! Drinks were good. The Grouper was Amazing. He brought it out hot and fresh from the kitchen! Delicious!Even the bartenders that had just got off work were friendly and having fun.Ferrara and Clint. Your Manager Shelda is the Best. Always keeping everything on point. Great place!

Awesome bar with a pool and great view of the lake!

4 of us boated to here for some drinks and lunch on 5/26/19. Sat up on top level with great view of the lake. Had their nachos. They were good. It was our servers second day and she was super nice and did a great job. Great place to take a break if out boating around.

Uncle Kracker and Renee Blair concert was pretty good! Had to wait for the rain to clear up but was totally worth it! Drinks are expensive but done well!

Been there once excellent food 👍👌 want to return just not sure when. I would love to eat there all the time the food is excellent. Great service 👍 I would recommend this to everyone the food is really really good 😊

Wow this place was wild. Wish my bachelor party was longer because we would of came back another night. So much fun
